Hi FitBuzzers

Many Fitbuzzers do have busy lives (I know because

many of you tell me) But still find time to be a FitBuzzer

(Believe it or not, that actually motivates me too :-D).

Just remember that the Fit Buzz formula is that of a

lifestyle. Which means you are allowed to enjoy your time

in any way that you like (In moderation of course). The

weekend isn’t too far off either :-).

But for ‘The Coolers’ sake, here are some smoothies to play

around with.

(Note: The Cooler is when I talk about random Fit Buzz or 

non Fit Buzz (Yet related) topics. A break away from the

‘in depth stuff)

Each of the smoothies contain one of the ‘essential’

supplements that was mentioned in yesterdays email.

Some smoothie benefits for those who aren’t familiar with 

them:

– Great for getting those much needed nutrients into your body

when you are short on time.

– They can make for great pre/during/post workout drinks.

(You already know the importance of getting this part of your 

nutrition ‘right’, as I’ve covered this on the website AND in the 

meal plans program. In short, you’ll save muscle, prevent wasted 

efforts and of course, achieve your desired results ‘quicker’)

Each will make for up to 4 servings.

Chocolate banana smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas 

  • 1.5 cups of almond milk 

  • 1 tsp maple syrup/raw honey/ or 2 dates 

    (soaked) 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

  • 1 to 2 tbsp of organic cocoa powder 

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil 

  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds 

  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds 

  • Sea salt (Small amount) 

  • A few ice cubes (optional)

    Directions

    Simply blend until smooth.

    A-rated Candy 

    You already know about A-rated foods and the importance of

    them from the Lifestyle Diet ebook. Fruits actually spike your

    insulin levels. Yet, they are classed as A-Rated food because

    they are all natural and they come from the ground. Hence

    ‘A-Rated Candy’.

    This can make for a simple post workout or breakfast snack.

    Ingredients

     

  • 1 mango 

  • 1 banana 

  • 1⁄2 cup strawberries 

  • 1 tbsp fish oil 

  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed 

  • 1⁄4 cup walnuts, soaked 

  • 1⁄2 to 1 cup water, depending on thickness desired
  • (Feel free to add glutamine)

    Directions

    Simply blend until smooth.

    Disease free smoothie (An anti-oxidant power house)

    In yesterdays email, I talked about a supplement that can help fix

    your bowel movements and keep it under control. Well, this

    smoothie doesn’t include that supplement or any of the natural

    foods mentioned there. Yet, the nutrients contained in this

    smoothie will help with that same goal.

    Ingredients

  • 1 apple 

  • 1 pear 

  • 1⁄4 cup blueberries 

  • 1⁄4 cup raspberries 

  • 1⁄4 cup blackberries 

  • 1⁄4 cup strawberries 

  • 2 tbsp spirulina 

  • 2 tbsp flax oil 

  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder  

    (Add cacao as it serves as THE power house for anti-oxidants)

    Directions

    Blend and keep adding water until you’re happy with the

    ‘smoothie-ness’.

    As you can see, it’s all about variety. I just added one for

    every cause.

    3) Digestion
