Just Eat Protein

Nothing too heavy today, as I know some of you like to catch up on the emails from in the week.
One of the phrases you may have seen me state a few times is…
”When all else fails, just snack on or eat some protein”
Which basically means when there’s no food around, or when access to a full meal is limited. Because you will at least be making an effort to save the lean muscle mass that you have built.
Another important part of this lifestyle is the importance of satiety. That is, to eat foods that you actually enjoy the taste of. Yes, A-rated foods are the way forward for 80% of your meals. But they can also be very tasteless on their own (Don’t worry, the meal plans has that covered with ways to spice up A-rated foods).
You’ll also want to eat ‘tasty’ food that leaves you feeling fuller for longer. Doing so will mean you won’t crave, you’ll eat less and take the pressure off your body to continuously digest food (Which can drain you and age you… in the long run).
And today, I have a smoothie to share with you that will tick all of the above.
When bananas go nuts
– Taste from banana
– Healthy fats
– Protein on the go
– 11⁄2 cups almond milk
– 1 banana
– 2 tbsp almond butter
– 1 tbsp cacao powder
– 1 tbsp ground flax seed
– 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
– 1⁄2 tsp nutmeg
– 5 ice cubes
Blend until smooth
